To make your Jesus Easter Tree first go outside and find a branch or bunch of twigs to use.
Put your branches in a container. My Easter Tree is in my front room and is quite big so my container had to be quite big. Make sure you weigh your container down (so that the twigs don't fall over) and that the branches are in an arrangement you like.

Get pink tissue paper and cut out flower shapes. Because tissue is so thin you can cut many layers at one time-thus speeding up the process.
This project looks best with a darker color tissue as well. If you don't have a darker color tissue paper (as I did not) then take some paint and lightly paint or sponge one of the light sheets of tissue paper. Cut them out in a similar shape as your other tissue flowers. You will use only one of these flowers so it doesn't matter if the tissue is not perfect.

Now take a pencil and put it in the middle of one of the tissue flowers. Bend the petals up around the pencil. Take that flower and dip it in a puddle of wet school glue and dab it on another tissue flower shape.
Continue gluing the petals together until you have the desired size. Make sure the second or third flower layer is taken from your darker tissue pile. This give a little extra dimension to the blossom.
Once you have made a bunch of blossoms take a break and admire all your hard work :)
In this picture you can see the tissue paper I sponged darker.
Now glue the blossoms on the tree branches. Make sure you glue them in small bunches to mimic a real blossom tree.
I did this project at night and my kids were delighted to see that their dead branch had blossomed while they slept!!!!
